She came in the mail yesterday and I'm so excited to finally get this doll. I've been wanting this one for a long time and while looking around on ebay I found her at a good price and from a US seller which means shipping was a good rate. If I had bought her from an Asian seller shipping would have been twice the amount than it is here in the States.
I have lots of plans for this one! I don't like any of the eye colors so I'm switching them all out, I got the new ones in this weekend but some of the colors are not what I thought they would be so I'm trying to figure out if I want to use what I have or get some new colors. I chose a lot of light colors and to me most of them look the same, I did put in a gray color and they look great but the others are just ok. I'll have to see if I can find some other colors I like better.
Her face is really shiny and I've been reading on how to matte the face, just worried that I could mess it up but so many people have said how easy it is I think I'll give it a try. Another thing that needs to be fixed is her gaze, she looks down instead of straight ahead. This involves opening up the head and sanding down the eye mechanism and this one gives me the most worries. I could totally mess that up and end up with an expensive doll with a big mistake on it. So I'm a little scared to do it but I won't like the doll unless I can correct the gaze.
Still no name for this one, I have a few names picked out but nother definate. Her out of the box pictures, hair needs some help but that's an easy fix. Can't wait to get all the changes made and see what she looks like. There is a photo group just for the Prima Dolly Heather Sky over at Flickr, it's fun to see what everyone had done with their doll.
