As any crafty person knows summer is the time to start thinking about Christmas, and that's what I started thinking about last week. It started out simple, I wanted to make something for my sister but couldn't not find the cross stitch pattern that I had purchased for her years ago with the idea that I would someday make it for her. So last weekend I started going threw my patterns looking for something to make for her. Not only did I find something for her but I also found something I wanted to make for my mom. Then I got the bright idea that I would make something for everyone in my family. I headed over to my trusty cross stitch store got the fabric I needed and was looking for something that I could make for my nieces. While looking around I found some really nice samplers and I know how much my mom loves them. Then I got an even more brilliant idea, I would make something for my mom's birthday which is in August, only two months away.
I really wish at that moment someone would have beat the crap out of me. Because seriously what the hell was I thinking? I have to now get four projects done by October so I can have plenty of time to get them framed and back to me before Christmas and I have to have one done by the end of the month to make sure I get it in time for my mom's birthday. Serious insanity! I will be a stitching fool for the next few months. What have I done?
PS. I don't think I'm that crazy about the updates that Typepad has made, this is my first time to make a post since the changes and it's a little weird. Just my thoughts on the matter.
